Rita Tawil is a Registered Psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Professional Psychology. She has almost a decade of experience working with individuals with disabilities across various roles, as well as trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, workplace stress, ex-military personnel, etc.
Rita realised she loved helping those with their mental health when she was in high school. When asked why she chose the psychology path, she will often respond with "it was psychology or law", following it up with "I used to love when my friends would come to me when they weren't feeling well. I liked trying to help them".

The problem is this: mental health support is hard to come by nowadays. With extra long waitlists and the financial state of many, individuals are feeling unable to prioritise their own mental wellness.
Rita started Psych Lens because she believes that mental health support should be accessible to everyone, regardless of where you are in life (or on the map). That's why we're building a practice that's affordable, flexible, and accessible!
